  • rear heater pipes gen 3

Anyone know what the diameter is for the rear heater pipes the steel ones on mine leak. I am going to replace them with either copper or silicon

I used high temp reinforced rubber pipe. I think it was 8mm id, but not sure, It was 5 years ago I did mine. I ran the rubber as replacing the metal for metal is a major job fiddling it in. I had to cut the old metal ones out so I could remove them. I used serrated joiners at the back heater end so I could join rubber to rubber. I then just cable tied the pipes to the chassis or clips as required.
