Those calipers are very close! Where did you get the discs and calipers from? What is the cost? are they the 299mm or the big boys?
Old enough to know better but then again.....

        Good effort, top work!

I'm surprised it fit with 15" wheels at all! - those look about as close as a 3rd gen with the 5 Spoke wheels.
        More Lift.
        More Tyres.
        More Engine.

Thanks, the black wheels are 16 inch, the last pics are trying on 15 inch answering the question raised.

I've got a 3rd gen on 17" rims with spacers.
Is it just a case of getting the new discs and calipers?

Yes, on your Case just bolt on, and trim a bit the disc dust guard to accommodate the bigger calipers

Yup, and light trimming of the disc shield.

                Edit: beaten to it!

As I always have the part numbers in one note:

                Front Brakes:
                Pads: 04465-35290
                Squeal shim kit: 04945-35080
                Caliper Rebuild Kit Front: 04479-60080
                Pin clip x 4 47749-35040
                Front Disk x 2 43512-0C011

discs are about £50 each from Toyota, at that price it's not worth shipping from the states! I just got a set of used calipers (13WL)and rebuilt.

                      Thanks Charlie, much appreciated.

I read that t4r.org article all the way through, some debate about premature pad wear etc. Have you had any issues with yours (as this will be my daily driver)?

                      ALSO...

Has it made a big difference in braking efficiency? I didn't think mine were that bad because I hadn't driven the Mrs' A4 Cab in a while. Whilst the Audi is probably over-servo'd for my liking, it does stop when you push the pedal down, whereas mine feels like the pedal sends an email to brakes in comparison.

SO I have a set of 13WL calipers and pads from the US that I don't need. Remanufactured calipers, in box unopened. Before I bite the bullet on US postage back, does anyone here want to buy them and save themselves US postage?

They stand me at $268.67 posted to UK

                            I'll say $200 (£155) + UK post.

Tempting! I want to uprate the brakes on the 2nd gen I'm going to put a 1UZFE in.

@budweiser - Have you been happy with the 13WL calipers on your 2nd gen? Any issues you've come across?
