Young Cochin Hens if I remember rightly. Don't have a lot left as Mrs *&$#! Fox grabbed them!

But I have something for Mrs Fox!

They look similar to Cochin. Nice eggs they produce too.

We also have some run of the mill brown ones. No idea what they are called. The wife knows. I just pay for and clean out the ###### things...lol

We have them just for the eggs. Same as the ducks! And they are pets too as the wife and daughter have named them all. Don't ask me what their names are though.....

Well they're nae very good Ninjas as 2 were grabbed a couple of weeks ago. I'm overseas working right now so can't shoot that pesky Fox.

So your a bit of an expert with Chickens? Which ones lay the tastiest eggs?

It will depend on what your feeding them really Steve.Mine are fed layers pellets and they can have them 24/7.I then give them some mixed corn later in the afternoons as a treat as well as veggies etc.The leghorns lay a nice egg and also the Bluebells. If fed right they will all lay nice tasting eggs.If your needing a fox shooting then pm or email your address and i'll find someone on one of the shooting pages to come do it for you free.
I got my own fb group aswell the one in my sig.

I feed mine on Layers Pellets and Mixed Grains. They sometimes get some dried meal worms for a treat. They love them! As soon as they see them in your hand your surrounded!

I'll get back to you on the Fox problem later. And I'll have a look at your FB page when I get back. The company I work for blocks FB and YT. Thankfully I travel for home Tuesday. A month in North Africa is enough...lol

He he! I'll try that when I get home myself. Maybe let my daughter try it too! Hopefully they won't go bananas and make her scream....lol

Are ducks into cabbage as well?

By the way my name is Colin.
