Although Im in the South my folks are in Cardiff so might be an easy collection.

Hi lifts are the dogs testicles for off roaders and vital equipment for expedition use.

They are not £40 assuming it's an original Hi Lift.

Most people weld on attchment points to landrover bumpers or use them with an ARB type fornt bumper, not sure what you'd do with a Surf though.

Rock sliders. No other obvious options really.

They can also be used to break the beads off wheel rims if you ever need to remove your tyres.

So how do folks with lifted Surfs and no Rocksliders jack them up safely? I'm considering bolting 2-3 inches of wood to the base of the stock bottle jack.
