Crank shaft timing gears KZN185

Hi any one know how the get the crank shaft pully off and where to get new timing gears from, think my ssrg 3ltr has damaged the teeth, sounded like a bolt went through the engine, simtoms now are noisy on tick over engine is missing a slight bit, i changed the head every thing was so sweet and after 200 miles I started it and instantly there was a loud bang and running rough, I have had the enginge check over and every thing is ok apart from the timming gears, the noise seems to be comming from this area. any help please.

Mate, I can't help you much, but I presume you have taken the timing cover off (pretty easy) and had a good look around, particularly at the belt tensioner to check it is still complete and effective.
