Thanks for the offer Si, I stripped it off on Sunday, (in the fog)
and refitted it this evening, only 1 1/2 hours total, (in the dark)
by heck those bolts were tight!!!

Anyways how are you and yours keeping, still working for a living?

Yeah, not so bad at work, slowing down a bit tho,
Only downer this month, was wifes father passing
away, a very sad time. But we're bearing up, can't
          do anything else really.

                Roughtrax did it again!
I love their precision - " your parcel will be delivered between 09:17 and 10:17...
However, was working at one of my neighbours houses, 4 doors a way - 5 second walk across the road. Put a note on the door to say please drop at number ## instead. Luckily I saw him through the window of my neighbours house, He read it 2 or 3 times, kept going back to the note, as if to digest that technical bit of information a little more and then just got back in his cab with the parcel, ready to set off!

                "OI! I'm HERE!!!!!"

resulted in the correct outcome. Moron.

He then had the cheek to ask me directions to the nearest Filling Station, after nearly not "bothering" to deliver my goodies.... T0$$er.

But anyway back on topic RT did it again. Well done Bazza.

                  Quality of bearings

Hi - I need to replace a front wheel bearing(s) on my KZN130. Was quoted £140 for the parts at a local garage, and I see RoughTrax do the kit for £30.
Does anyone have experience with their bearings. Are they good quality and going to last?
I know what I would rather spend, but don't want to be doing the job again in 2 years :-)

Hi This thread is 3 1/2 years old

Often find the original equipment Toyota,Vauxhall, Ford etc etc are all made by
                    same manufacturer S.K.F.

Nought wrong with Rough Trax bearings.

Possibly buy cheaper at your local bearing supplier/shop.

Replaced both of mine with Rough Trax ones and no problems to report so far. I changed them over 6 months ago and still sweet.

Yeah, but I thought rather than start a new thread, I would jump on the best fit old thread (got moaned at on another forum for starting new threads when there were existing threads you could tag onto) :-s
Not after the cheapest, but best value. £30 vs £140 for something of similar quality is good, but I want to get feedback about whether the Roughtrax are good.

Thanks for the feedback Bonk :-)

I bought the Roughtrax wheel Bearings and when they came they were quality german parts. They are fine now with 5K miles on them.

Milner normally sent decent wheel bearings too.
