Are they the better models to go for , the reason I am asking is that I have saved one from getting scrapped , it doesn't need much doing to it and it's a nice light blue colour which I prefer , so just checking before I do it up 😄

Kinda hard to say , as there are ssr and ssr-x models out there to which the original japanese purchaser has had optional extras added which can pretty much make them same spec as the ssr-g. is yours the intercooled one? That is probably the real top spec model, and probably worth saving.

I think the SSR-G has Recaro seats. Have heard that most prefer the normal seats over them.

              Nev.

Not the 3rd gen. mine doesnt have them, and not sure Ive seen one with recaros. Guessing the recaros were a 2nd gen thing.

Recaros were an option, but not specifically on an SSR-G.

The Japanese factory ordering was odd.. you can get very high spec SSR-X Limited's that have pretty much all the spec of a "G".

My 96 3rd gen ssrg has recaros, I didn't realise they weren't standard in ssrg spec

Recaros are pretty rare in a 3rd gen!

I'd love to find a set! (assuming they are comfy)
