• 2nd gen Dash bulbs

I need to replace a few bulbs on my dash, but I'm having a hard time figuring out which style I need without taking the dash apart first. A significant number of the general illumination ones are out, and I know for certain that the main beam indicator bulb is out (technically an MOT failure). Only info I've found is that they're T5 and T10 on a 3rd gen. Is it the same for a 2nd gen? How many for a full set? Should I go LED or just stick to standard?

Given that they're likely all original bulbs and thus 22 years old now I reckon I might as well do them all in one go if I'm going to dismantle the dash to get to them. Might even do the white dial conversion whilst I'm at it.

T10 and T5 across all Toyota 4x4s some us capless and others the type that comes with the holder the Gen 3 uses capless so I recon the Gen 2 will too I know the MK3 Hilux uses capless so they would be a fair bet. I use LED nice and bright!
I use this type because I know they fit

Thankyou for the information, and the link. As they're so cheap I'll buy a couple sets of them as I think I read that a full complement is 11.

Now to find similar in T5

Hi Slugsie
I also have the same issue as you ie no main beam tell tale & need to have all bulbs ready so it can be done in one go and back on the road.
