  • Bio tuning 2 tank veggie conversion

Finally got around to converting my 96 hilux surf with the 3 litre diesel to a twin tank kit from Biotuning U.K. I used a custom made aluminum
Tank that holds 76 litres a hot fox in tank heater a coolant heated veggie oil filter, flat plate heat exchanger and 2-3 way solonoid valves. I start on diesel till the motor reaches 180 deg then switch to veg. I put a small electric pusher pump between the in tank heated supply line and the veg filter which is mounted on the tank . This helps the injection pump so there is not as much of a strain pulling the veg oil from the back. There is no difference in how it runs except the smell it makes me hungry. I took a video of the conversion and will post it when I figure out how to do it.

Yes it does get cold here, I have ran my dodge cummins diesel on a two tank system at -37 deg Celsius with no issues.
