  • KZN130 timing belt tensioner - which hex tool?

    Hi,

I've just been looking at changing the timing belt, my first one ever but I did watch Tony do it last time. It was 3 yrs ago and I remembered most of it.

I've seen that I will need some kind of hex/torx head took to get the tensioner pulley off. Is that right? I've got a T50 torx, too small and a T60 torx, too big.

It's my only car and I've got loads of running about to do this week and next, so the cover has gone back on for now.

I've searched but can't really find the answer to this one.

    All assistance appreciated.

10mm hex I believe. If you need to check just use hex bolt.

    Nev.

      Thank you.

Have to be honest, didn't even think of that.

Dug out an old tool box this morning, about 3 or 4 items in there, one being a 10mm hex/allen key!
